Have you ever thought about serving on the Altar Guild? If you like the “behind the scenes” activity, this might be a position for you. Members typically serve one full month at a time, caring for the altar. Their duties include changing altar clothes and paraments, seasonally; preparing the altar for Holy Communion each Sunday; ensuring supplies for each Sunday; assisting with clean up and laundering the linens; and finding their own substitute as needed. We need two or three additional members, so no one needs to take more than two months each year. Training is provided. Please contact Pastor Sally or Jean Jackson.

Dinner Church is back! Beginning on Wednesday, May 3, at 5:30, we will again be having potluck worship. NO, you don’t need to bring anything for worship. The potluck is for the dinner. We gather, share a meal, share a story, sing, pray, and clean up together. Dinner church is a very informal gathering, held in the upper fellowship area at the church. It will continue to be held on the First Wednesday of each month, maybe having a picnic one summer evening.

Coming soon! The Juggler with the Yellow Shoes. Watch this spot for more details. He will be here in May and you do not want to miss this family-friendly show! The price is right, too! One non-perishable food item and a free will cash offering. Tell your friends, family, neighbors.

Remember to tell your friends and neighbors about Coffee First. Delicious Fair Exchange coffee is served every Friday morning at 10:00 in the upper fellowship area at the church. The entire community is welcome to come for coffee and conversation. Bakery available for a donation.
